Description
Reintroducing No Legs To Stand On, the official cassette-only reissue by San Diego’s best kept skate rock secret, Sub Society.
Originally recorded and released in 1989, these tracks alternate effortlessly between thrashing hardcore, melodic punk, guitar-driven alternative rock and SST Records-esque idiosyncrasy – each charged with exemplary metallic riffage.
Shortly after its release, copies of No Legs To Stand On sold rapidly in the US through mail order. Undoubtedly, this was due to skateboard company H-Street’s use of the songs “Hard Cory” aka “Hokus Montage”, “Society’s Dropout”, “Rockstar” and “A Lot Less” in the soundtrack to its seminal skate video Hokus Pokus, endearing the band to skateboarders worldwide.
Now, back in print for its first time and in its original format, No Legs To Stand On presently features seven bonus tracks.
